Domain Registration Agreement
1. Registration Obligations
By registering a domain through our services, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, including your contact, administrative, technical, and billing details. You are responsible for keeping this information up to date.
2. Domain Ownership
Upon successful registration and subject to applicable laws and contractual terms, you are considered the legal owner of the domain. You may use, transfer, or renew the domain as long as you comply with the requirements of the relevant domain registrar (e.g., SWITCH, EURid, ICANN).
3. Renewals and Transfers
You are responsible for renewing your domain before it expires. Failure to do so may result in the permanent loss of the domain. Transfers to another registrar are possible under certain conditions and may incur fees. Please consult your registrar's transfer policies.
4. WHOIS Data and Privacy
As required by domain registrars, parts of your WHOIS data (e.g., name, email, address) may be publicly visible. You may use WHOIS privacy protection services if offered by your registrar. We comply with the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
5. Dispute Resolution
Disputes related to domain ownership, registration, or use are subject to the dispute resolution policies of the relevant registrar (e.g., UDRP, SWITCH Dispute Resolution). You agree to participate in and adhere to these procedures.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate this agreement if you breach its terms or engage in actions that compromise the reputation, security, or integrity of the domain or our infrastructure. Termination may result in the loss of domain ownership.
7. Changes to This Agreement
We may update this Domain Registration Agreement for legal, operational, or service-related reasons. Significant changes will be communicated via our website. It is your responsibility to review this agreement periodically to remain compliant.
