Setting Up Professional Email Communication
With cPanel at CURIAWEB, you have full control over your communication. You can create individual email accounts for your domains, set storage quotas, and manage access via Webmail or local programs like Outlook and Thunderbird.
Step 1: Create a New Email Account
The path to your own address (e.g., info@yourdomain.ch) is short and straightforward:
- Log in to your cPanel Dashboard.
- Navigate to the "Email" section and click on "Email Accounts".

3. Click the blue "+ Create" button (on the right side).
Step 2: Configure Account Details
Now fill in the required fields. Special attention should be paid to the security of your account:
Key Fields:
- Username: Enter the desired name before the @ symbol.
- Password: Be sure to use the "Generate" button to create a highly secure password.
- Storage Space: Define a limit (Quota) or select "Unlimited".

Optional Pro Settings
Automatic Folders for Plus Addressing:
A powerful tool for automatic sorting! If you enable "Automatically Create Folders", a message sent to user+newsletter@yourdomain.ch will be moved directly into a folder named "newsletter". This keeps your inbox clean.
Welcome Email (Setup Instructions):
Check this box to immediately receive an email with all the technical setup details for mail clients (Outlook, iPhone, Android).
Logging into Webmail
To read your emails directly in the web browser, click "Check Email" next to the respective address in the list of accounts.

Quota Status:
In the overview, you can see at any time how many accounts are already active. The infinity symbol (∞) indicates that your hosting package at CURIAWEB has no fixed upper limit for the number of addresses.
