Incoming Filtering – Getting Started

This guide will help you set up the SpamExperts Incoming Filtering service.

Requirement: The Incoming Filtering service must be purchased and provisioned in the CURIAWEB Client Area.

Configuring MX Records

  1. First, remove all existing MX records from your server's DNS settings.
  2. Then set the MX records as follows (according to SpamExperts):
Hostname Priority
mx.spamexperts.com 10
fallbackmx.spamexperts.eu 20
lastmx.spamexperts.net 30

After DNS propagation, SpamExperts will recognize the updated MX records and start filtering incoming emails.

How it works

No further configuration is required. Incoming emails will be routed through the SpamExperts Cloud System, spam will be filtered out, and clean emails will be delivered to your local mail server.
