Saving Purchase Intent: The Wishlist Feature

The Wishlist allows customers to save products for a later purchase. This increases the likelihood of returning visitors to your shop.

Managing the Wishlist

Settings can be found under Stores > Configuration > Customers > Wishlist.

  • Enabled: This is where you toggle the function globally on or off.
  • Share Options: Define whether customers are allowed to share their wishlist with friends via email – a powerful marketing tool!
  • My Wishlist Text: Customize the label displayed in the customer account.
Marketing Idea: You can see in the admin area which products end up on wishlists most frequently and use this data for targeted promotions.
