Download invoices: Your digital invoice archive in the CURIAWEB Client Area
In the CURIAWEB Client Area, your invoices are available in one central place. For accounting, internal filing or payment checks, you can view the required documents at any time and download them as PDF files. This helps you keep track of paid and open invoices and quickly retrieve important documents when needed.
The digital invoice archive is especially useful if you need older documents, want to check payments or prepare records for your accounting department. Instead of searching through emails, simply open the invoice area in the Client Area and select the invoice you need.
Briefly explained: Where can I find my invoices?
You can find your invoices in the Client Area under “Billing” > “My Invoices”. There you can see an overview of your invoices including status, open individual invoices and download them as PDF files.
Why the invoice archive is important
Invoices are important documents for accounting and record keeping. Especially for business hosting products, domains or addons, companies often need clean PDF documents to book costs correctly and track payments.
The invoice overview is also useful for private customers. You can see at a glance which invoices have already been paid, which are still open and which products or services were billed. This makes it easier to clarify questions and plan payments.
How to open your invoices in the Client Area
The invoice area is available directly through the navigation in the CURIAWEB Client Area. There you can view invoices, check the status and download PDF files.
Overview of the steps:
- Log in to the CURIAWEB Client Area.
- Click “Billing” in the navigation.
- Select “My Invoices”.
- You will see a list of your invoices with their status, such as “Paid” or “Unpaid”.
- Click the desired invoice to open the detailed view.
- Use the “Download” button to save the invoice as a PDF.
The downloaded PDF contains the invoice information and can be used for accounting, filing or internal forwarding. If the invoice can be paid by QR invoice, the PDF also contains the corresponding QR payment section.
Understanding invoice status
In the invoice overview, you can see the status of each invoice. A paid invoice has been marked as settled in the system. An unpaid or open invoice has not yet been posted as paid. Depending on the payment method, it may take some time until a payment becomes visible in the Client Area.
Especially with bank payments by QR invoice, the status is not always updated immediately. Such payments must first be processed by the bank and then correctly assigned. With online payments such as PayPal, reconciliation is usually faster or automatic.
Important: If you paid by QR invoice, the invoice may temporarily still be shown as open in the Client Area. In this case, check the payment date and consider the processing time for bank payments.
Download PDF invoices for accounting
For accounting, it is recommended to download invoices as PDFs and store them in a structured internal filing system. A consistent structure, for example by year, supplier or project, makes documents easier to find later.
If several people in your company work with invoices, downloaded PDFs can be forwarded internally to the responsible accounting team. Make sure that sensitive customer data and invoice information is only shared with authorised persons.
Find open invoices faster
In the invoice overview, you can check or filter the list by status if this function is available in your view. This allows you to find all open items faster and plan payments more specifically.
This is especially useful if you manage several products, domains or addons with CURIAWEB. Instead of checking each invoice individually, you can focus on the invoices that are not yet marked as paid.
Tip: Check open invoices regularly, especially before due dates for hosting products or domains. This helps avoid renewal delays and unnecessary follow-up questions.
Distinguishing invoice, payment and document
An invoice shows which service was billed and which amount must be paid. The payment is the actual settlement of that invoice. The PDF document is used for your records and may represent either an open or already paid invoice depending on its status.
If an invoice is marked as paid, you can still use the PDF for your records. If an invoice is still open, the PDF can also be used for payment, especially if it contains a QR payment section.
Issued invoices and account details
If you change your account details in the Client Area, these changes apply to future invoices. Already issued invoices are not automatically changed retroactively. This is important for accounting reasons.
If you need a correction or review of an already issued invoice, please open a support ticket and provide the affected invoice number. CURIAWEB can then check what is possible in the specific case.
What if an invoice is missing or unclear?
If you cannot find a specific invoice or do not understand an item on an invoice, contact CURIAWEB Support. If possible, include the invoice number, period or affected product.
The more precise your information, the faster the request can be checked. Do not send unnecessary sensitive payment details; only provide the information required to assign your request.
