Keep track of due dates: Check renewals for hosting, domains and services
To help you avoid missing important renewals, the CURIAWEB Client Area provides an overview of upcoming due dates for your products and services. There you can see when a hosting package, domain or other service is next due and when to expect an invoice or notification.
The next due date is important because it helps you plan in advance. This can prevent unnecessary interruptions, reminders or, in the worst case, accidental deactivation or deletion of a service. For business websites, email addresses and domains in particular, checking due dates early is strongly recommended.
Briefly explained: What does “Next Due Date” mean?
The “Next Due Date” field shows when a product or service is next due for renewal or payment. This date helps you plan invoices, payments and possible adjustments in good time.
Why should you check due dates regularly?
Hosting products, domains and addons are often linked to fixed billing periods. If a service is not paid or renewed on time, this may lead to restrictions depending on the product and its status. Hosting services may affect websites or email functions. With domains, a missed renewal can be particularly critical because domains are central to websites, email and brand presence.
Regular checks in the Client Area help you stay in control. Especially if you manage several products, a structured review of next due dates can prevent individual services from being overlooked.
Where can you find the next due date?
In the CURIAWEB Client Area, there are several places where you can find information about upcoming due dates. The exact display may vary slightly depending on the view and product.
Possible areas in the Client Area:
- Dashboard: Immediately after logging in, you can see important information about your products in the overview or “Services” widget.
- My Services: Under “Services” > “My Services”, the product overview displays the “Next Due Date” field for each product.
- Service details: When you open an individual product, you will find further details about that service and its term or due date.
If you manage several hosting packages, domains or addons, it is useful to check not only the dashboard but also the full service overview. This allows you to see each product separately and compare upcoming due dates more easily.
Automatic notification before expiry
Approximately 14 days before a service expires, CURIAWEB automatically sends you an email notification together with the corresponding invoice. This gives you enough time to make the payment, obtain internal approval or clarify any questions about the invoice.
The notification is sent to the email address stored in the Client Area. Make sure this address is up to date and checked regularly. If an invoice or renewal notice is not read, payment may be delayed.
Important: If you cannot find an expected invoice, check your spam or junk folder as well as your inbox. The email address stored in the Client Area should remain permanently reachable.
Distinguishing due date, invoice and payment
The due date shows when a service is next due for renewal or payment. The invoice contains the specific payment information, amount, payment deadline and the services concerned. Payment is the step that ensures the renewal or continuation of the service.
These three points are related but not identical. A service may have a next due date while the invoice is only created or sent at a certain time. It is therefore useful to keep an eye on both the service overview and the invoice area in the Client Area.
Checking invoices in the Client Area
In addition to due dates, you can also view your invoices in the Client Area. This allows you to check whether an invoice has already been created, whether it is still open or whether it has already been paid.
If you see an open invoice, you should pay it on time. Use the payment information provided in the Client Area or on the invoice. If payment has already been made but is not yet shown as paid, processing may take some time depending on the payment method.
Tip for accounting: Regularly check open invoices in the Client Area and plan payments early. This helps avoid unnecessary queries, reminders or interruptions to important services.
Renew domains in good time
Domains are especially important because they are often directly connected to websites, email and brand identity. If a domain is not renewed on time, this can lead to accessibility problems. For business-critical domains, renewal should therefore not be postponed until the last moment.
If you would like to secure domains for several years in advance, you can contact CURIAWEB for an individual renewal. This can be useful especially for important company domains, project domains or long-term brand domains.
What if a service is no longer needed?
If you do not want to renew a service, you should check this in good time and take the necessary steps before the next due date. Pay attention to any cancellation periods, terms or product-specific conditions.
Before allowing a service to expire or cancelling it, make sure that no important data, websites, email accounts or domains still depend on it. For hosting products in particular, a full backup is recommended before cancellation.
If you are unsure
If you are unsure which invoice belongs to which service or whether a product should be renewed, contact CURIAWEB Support early. Please specify as precisely as possible which product, domain or invoice your question relates to.
The earlier a question about due dates or renewals is clarified, the easier it is to avoid interruptions. This is particularly useful before holidays, company absences or internal accounting deadlines.
Summary
You can find the next due date for your CURIAWEB products in the Client Area dashboard, under “Services” > “My Services” and in the individual service details.
