Your Security Dashboard for All Domains

In the SSL/TLS Status interface, you can keep an overview of the encryption for all your domains, subdomains, and service addresses. Here you can view the current status of your certificates, control automatic renewal (AutoSSL), and identify sources of error in certificate issuance.

Recommendation: Every domain should be secured via SSL (HTTPS) today. This not only protects your visitors but is also a crucial factor for your Google ranking.

Status Display and Icons

In the domain table, you can recognize the security status immediately by the symbols next to the domain name:

✔ Green (DV/OV/EV): The domain is secure. A valid certificate is installed and active.
➤ Yellow (Self-signed): A certificate exists, but browsers classify it as insecure (no official Certificate Authority).
✘ Red (Unsecured): No valid certificate found or the certificate has expired.

AutoSSL Management

AutoSSL is our free service that automatically issues and renews certificates for you. In this view, you can manually influence the process:

  • Run AutoSSL: Force an immediate check and re-issuance of all pending certificates.
  • Include / Exclude: Select individual domains to be excluded from automatic renewal (e.g., if you are manually managing an expensive external certificate there).

Troubleshooting and Filters

If AutoSSL fails, you will find detailed log information in the "Certificate Status" column. Common causes include:

  • DNS Issues: The domain does not yet point to our server.
  • CAA Records: An entry exists in your DNS settings that only allows specific providers to issue certificates. You can correct this in the Zone Editor.
  • Redirects: A strictly configured .htaccess redirect is blocking the Certificate Authority's access to the validation file.
Pro Filter: Use the gear icon to filter the list specifically for "Expired Certificates" or "Domains with AutoSSL Problems" to resolve issues quickly.
