Personalizing Your cPanel

In the Account Preferences, you determine how cPanel communicates with you and how your data is processed. These options can usually be found via the User Icon in the top right corner of your cPanel dashboard.

cPanel Account Preferences Overview

1. Privacy & Interface Analytics

cPanel offers an analytics feature to constantly improve the user interface. Here you have full control over your data:

  • Allow Tracking: If enabled, anonymous usage data will be collected.
  • Security First: Analytics are only active if both the server (CURIAWEB) and you as the user agree.
Server Level Your Setting Status
Enabled Yes ✔ Active
Enabled No ✘ Inactive

2. Account Type (Personal vs. Business)

Here you define the intended use of your account. This helps us and the system to better tailor information and offers (if available) to your needs.

Simply select "Personal" or "Business" from the dropdown and click Save.

3. System Notifications (Display Location)

Do the green success messages or red warnings get in your way? You can choose where they appear:

  • Default: Top right corner.
  • Center-Center: The message appears centrally as an overlay (must be closed with X or Esc).

4. Language & Region

In addition to the main language, you can make specific regional settings here. cPanel supports all major world languages such as German, English, Spanish, and many more.

Note: Changes in this area only affect the visual representation of your cPanel access, not your installed websites (like WordPress).

Would you like to change your password or enable two-factor authentication?
You can find these options under "Password & Security".
