Linking Domain and Hosting

Did you register your domain with another provider but want to use the high-performance hosting from CURIAWEB? No problem. You have two options to connect your domain to our server.

Option A: Change Nameservers (Recommended)

This is the cleanest method. By doing this, you will manage all DNS records directly in your CURIAWEB cPanel in the future.

Set the following nameservers at your domain provider:

ns1.curiaweb.ch
ns2.curiaweb.ch

Option B: Point the A-Record

Use this method if your emails or other services should remain with the old provider and only the website should point to our server.

  • Log in to your domain provider's website.
  • Find the DNS management section.
  • Change the A-Record (and if applicable, the AAAA-Record) to the IP address of your CURIAWEB server.
Don't forget: Before the domain can work, you must add it in your cPanel under the Domains menu by selecting "Create A New Domain"!
