Integrated Basic Methods
Magento 2 comes with several methods out of the box:
- Bank Transfer Payment: Prepayment via bank transfer. Enter your IBAN and bank details here.
- Cash on Delivery: Payment upon delivery.
- Check / Money Order: Rather uncommon in Switzerland, often used for internal test orders.
Modern Payment Providers
For credit cards, TWINT, or PayPal, you usually need to install an official module from the respective provider. Magento 2 is already pre-optimized for PayPal, making activation particularly easy.
Important: Always use the "Sandbox Mode" (test mode) of a payment provider before going live with your shop to ensure that funds are booked correctly.
