The Product Configurator: "Build your own"
A "Bundle Product" allows customers to assemble a product themselves from various options. A classic example is a computer system where the customer selects the processor, RAM, and hard drive.
Creating a Bundle
- Under Catalog > Products, select the type Bundle Product.
- Scroll to the Bundle Items section.
- Choose whether the price should be "Dynamic" (calculated from the selected options) or "Fixed".
- Click "Add Option", give the selection a title (e.g., "Chassis"), and add the corresponding individual products.
Difference from "Grouped": While a grouped product is simply a list, a bundle offers real selection choices (Dropdown, Radio Buttons) within a single item.
