Domain Push: Internal Change of Ownership Made Easy

A "Domain Push" is required when a domain needs to be moved from one CuriaWeb customer account to another CuriaWeb account (e.g., when selling a website or changing responsibilities within a company).

The Process at CuriaWeb:

  1. Both parties must have an active customer account with us.
  2. The current owner opens a support ticket and provides us with the domain and the email address of the new recipient account.
  3. After a security check, we move the domain internally.
Important Note: An internal push only changes the administration in the customer portal. Make sure to also update the WHOIS owner data (registrant contact details) afterwards, so that the new owner is also legally listed as the holder.
