In the backend, navigate to System -> Global Configuration (Tab "Site").

  • Site Name: This appears in the browser tab and is crucial for your branding.
  • Site Offline: Set this to "Yes" if you are performing maintenance. You can provide a custom message and a logo for the offline mode.
  • SEO Settings:
    • Search Engine Friendly URLs: Always set this to "Yes".
    • Use URL Rewriting: Enable this (requires a renamed .htaccess file on your CURIAWEB server) to remove "/index.php/" from your links.
SEO Tip: Fill out the "Site Meta Description" carefully. This is the text Google displays in search results. Keep it under 160 characters.
