In the "Server" tab, you can optimally link Joomla with the CURIAWEB hosting environment.

Recommended Settings at CURIAWEB:

  1. Gzip Compression: Set this to "Yes". The server compresses the data before sending it, which significantly reduces loading times.
  2. Force HTTPS: Select "Entire Site". Since CURIAWEB offers free SSL certificates (AutoSSL), your site should only be accessible via an encrypted connection.
  3. Error Reporting: Set this to "None" or "System Default" for live operation. Only set to "Maximum" for troubleshooting, as technical paths might otherwise be visible to visitors.
  4. Time Zone: Select "Zurich" to ensure that your article publishing times are managed correctly.
