Understanding Your Website's Architecture

In Joomla, content is often controlled via modules (e.g., menus, sliders, or login forms). However, every template has different names for its positions (e.g., "Top-A", "Sidebar", or "Footer-1").

Activating the Preview Function:

  1. Go to System -> Templates -> Site Templates.
  2. Click on Options in the top right corner.
  3. Set "Preview Module Positions" to Enabled and save.
  4. Now access your website in the browser with the suffix ?tp=1 (e.g., your-domain.ch/?tp=1).

You will now see red markers with the names of all available positions. For optimal display of such graphical elements, we recommend our Swiss Web Hosting, which loads even complex layouts lightning fast thanks to SSD storage.
