The SpamExperts Dashboard Explained: An Overview of the Most Important Functions
The SpamExperts Dashboard is the central management interface for your email spam filter. Here you can check incoming emails, review messages in the spam quarantine, allow or block senders and – depending on the service you have booked – use additional features such as archiving or outgoing filtering.
After logging in to the SpamExperts Panel, you will see various tools and menu items. For everyday use, you will usually only need a few of them. This article gives you a short overview of the most important areas.
The most important areas in the SpamExperts Dashboard
- Incoming: In this area, you manage everything related to incoming filtering. This is where the system checks which emails are delivered, held back or blocked.
- Spam Quarantine: This is where suspicious emails are stored when they have been held back by the spam filter. If an expected message does not appear in your mailbox, the quarantine is usually the first place you should check.
- Log Search / Email Logs: The log search allows you to check what happened to a specific email. For example, you can see whether a message was delivered, rejected or moved to the quarantine.
- Whitelist: The whitelist allows you to approve trusted senders or domains. This is useful if legitimate emails have incorrectly been detected as spam.
- Blacklist: The blacklist allows you to block unwanted senders or domains. This function is useful for recurring spam sources or unwanted contacts.
- Archiving: If you have booked email archiving, you can access historically stored emails here – searchable and audit-proof.
Which functions do you need most often in everyday use?
In most cases, you will mainly work with the spam quarantine, the log search, and the whitelist and blacklist. These areas help you find missing emails, release legitimate messages and permanently block unwanted senders.
Additional functions such as archiving, outgoing filtering or advanced reports are available depending on the email service you have booked.
