Monitor your server's vital signs
The 360 Monitoring dashboard provides precise insights into hardware usage. But what do these values mean for the stable operation of your website?
The most important metrics:
- CPU Load: Indicates how much pressure is on the processor. Persistent values above 80% can lead to slow loading times.
- RAM Usage: When memory is full, the server must move data to the slower hard drive (swapping). This significantly slows down your website.
- Disk Usage: Keep an eye on free storage space. A full disk often causes databases to crash or prevents emails from being received.
Use early warnings: Set up alerts to be notified when disk usage reaches 90%. This gives you time to delete old backups or upgrade your package at CURIAWEB before an outage occurs.
