Ensuring Your Emails Arrive

Major email providers like Google, Yahoo, and Outlook have tightened their security rules. To prevent your business emails from ending up in the spam folder or being rejected entirely, three important DNS records must be set correctly.

1. SPF (Sender Policy Framework)
Specifies which servers are allowed to send emails on your behalf.
2. DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail)
Adds a digital signature to your emails to rule out tampering.
3. DMARC
Provides instructions on what should happen if SPF or DKIM fails.

How to Activate Protection in cPanel

CURIAWEB makes it easy for you. You don't have to write these cryptic codes yourself:

  1. Log in to cPanel.
  2. In the Email section, click on Email Deliverability.
  3. Find your domain in the list. If it says "Problems Exist," click on Manage.
  4. Click Install or Install Suggested Records for both SPF and DKIM.
Note: If you use external services like Mailchimp or Salesforce, they must be included in the SPF record. Contact us if you are unsure!

Check your deliverability with tools like Mail-Tester.com after making the changes!
