In the CURIAWEB customer center you will find a Email history with messages sent to you by the system. There, you can access important notifications again if you can no longer find the original email in your inbox.
This is useful, for example, for welcome emails regarding a new hosting package, order confirmations, invoice notifications, or other important information about your CURIAWEB services.
What is the email history for? #
An important message can quickly become lost. Perhaps it was accidentally deleted, moved by the spam filter, archived, or lost among many other emails.
The email history offers you an additional way to read messages sent by the CURIAWEB system directly via the customer center. As a result, you are not solely reliant on the copy in your personal email inbox.
Good to know: The email history is not a substitute for your personal email inbox or your own email archiving. It serves to allow you to view system messages logged in the customer center again at a later time.
How to open your email history #
You can access the email history directly via your profile menu in the CURIAWEB customer center.
- Log in to CURIAWEB Customer Center a.
- Click on your name or the profile menu in the top right.
- Select the menu item „Email thread“.
- You will now see the available messages with their sending date and subject.
- Open the desired message to view its content directly in the Customer Center.
If you roughly know when a certain action took place, the date will help you find the right message. This can be, for example, the date of a hosting order, a product activation, or an invoice.
What news do you find there? #
The email history is particularly helpful for messages that contain technical or administrative information about your customer account and your booked services.
This may include the following messages, among others:
- Welcome emails after activating a hosting package
- Purchase orders and order confirmations
- Information on products and services
- Billing and payment notifications
- Domain-specific system messages
- Information on changes to your customer account
- further automated notifications sent by the CURIAWEB system
Which messages are actually displayed depends on which emails were sent to your customer account via the customer center and logged there.
Find the hosting welcome email again #
The email history is especially useful after you've ordered and activated a new hosting package. The accompanying welcome email may contain important information about how to use your hosting service.
If you can no longer find this message in your normal inbox, you should therefore first check the email history in the customer center.
Tip: If you are looking for technical information about a newly set up hosting package, check the corresponding welcome email first. There you will find important details that may be needed for setting up and managing your hosting.
What to do if a message is not displayed? #
If you cannot find a specific message in your email history, you should first check whether you are logged into the correct CURIAWEB customer account. This is particularly relevant if you use multiple customer accounts or have access to the accounts of other people or companies.
Then also check your normal email inbox. Search there not only in the inbox, but also in:
- spam or junk folders
- archival folders
- Deleted messages or the trash can
- automatically set up subfolders or filters
When searching, terms such as CURIAWEB, the name of your product, your domain, or part of the expected subject line can be helpful.
If you are still unable to find a required message, you can open a support ticket. Describe in as much detail as possible which information or message you need. This will help us assign your request more quickly.
Protecting sensitive information in email threads #
System messages can contain technical, personal, or administrative information. Accordingly, it is important to protect access to your CURIAWEB customer center.
Do not share your personal login credentials with employees, web designers, or external service providers. If another person needs access to certain areas of your customer account, you should set up a separate user account with appropriate permissions instead.
We explain how this works in the manual Set up user access for web designers or employees.
Treat any information that you copy or forward from an old system message with equal confidentiality. In particular, access credentials and technical information should only be given to individuals who actually need them.
